National Mathematical Olympiad Registration System
Description
The objective of this project is to develop a registration system for the National Mathematical Olympiad for the Malaysian Mathematical Sciences Organization (Persatuan Sains Matematik Malaysia, PERSAMA). The Olympiad is a recognized mathematics competition and attracts participants from thousands of government and private schools all over Malaysia. It is the platform from which eventual winners are selected to represent Malaysia in the following International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).
The comprehensive registration system will replace the old registration methods where participants have to manually send forms and payments via mail. The system will be web-based and is expected to ease the registration process and data management for the yearly event.
Aidan Technologies is also appointed to design and develop the official PERSAMA website at www.persama.org.my. The website will feature information on PERSAMA and mathematical sciences education in general. The new PERSAMA website is expected to be a source of information for the Malaysian mathematical sciences community, including teachers and students.
